Commonly Sold Welding Rods, Electrodes And Tungsten
With several different options available in welding rods, electrodes and tungsten, our customers seem to keep coming back for some more than others. Although all material eventually sales, we find some items setting on our shelves for longer periods of time while others are constantly on our reorder list. Though the pounds requested and the size of rods and electrodes vary between 1/16", 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16" and 1/4", the common material always seems to be the same.
1) Aluminum 4043
2) 6010 and 6011 Mild Steel
3) 6013 Mild Steel
4) 7018 Carbon Electrodes
5) 7014 Mild Steel
6) 308, 309 and 316 Stainless
Tungsten, however, sales pretty straight forward with one not more considerable than the other - depending on the application.
1) 2% Thoriated (Red)
2) 1% Lanthanated (Gold)
3) Pure (Green)
4) 2% Ceriated (Orange)
